Banco G&T Continental Opens Call for GTC Women Awards
Banco G&T Continental, through its GTC Women program, has launched a call to recognize and reward the outstanding role of Guatemalan women who actively contribute to the progress of society in five key areas: civic responsibility, entrepreneurship, executive leadership, art, and sports.
Commitment to Comprehensive Development
Since its initial commitment in 2021 with the GTC Women program, the Grupo Financiero G&T Continental has been dedicated to empowering Guatemalan women, providing them with tools and exclusive benefits for their growth and development. This effort has now been consolidated with the launch of the first edition of the GTC Women Awards.
Enrique RodrÃguez, General Manager of Banco G&T Continental, explains: "The idea of this award originates from our financial group's commitment to Guatemalan women. We recognize the crucial role of women in the growth of our country, and hence the idea of the GTC Women Awards."
Five Categories of Recognition
The aim of these awards is to provide a platform for visibility and support to outstanding women in five fundamental areas:
- Civic Responsibility
- Entrepreneurship and SMEs
- Executive Leadership
- Sports
- Art
Call for Entries and Requirements
The call for entries is open from April 16 to June 15. Guatemalan women wishing to participate must meet the following requirements:
- Be Guatemalan by birth.
- Have at least three years of experience in their impact area.
- Have a defined growth plan.
- Demonstrate positive impact in their category.
- Fill out the digital form available at this link.
Selection Process and Awarding
A specialized jury will review all submissions and select the finalists in each category on June 20. The public will be able to vote for the finalists through the same digital platform.
The winners will receive a cash prize to boost their projects, a replica of the GTC Women sculpture, and will receive support from experts in each category to achieve the goals of their growth plan.
