AI Fest 2025 turned Mexico City into the epicenter of technological innovation, bringing together over a thousand leaders, investors, and founders to showcase the rapidly growing artificial intelligence sector in Latin America. The event emphasized how AI is not just about innovation but solving real-world problems with validated, scalable solutions.
Record Investments Signal Confidence in AI Startups

During 2024, Latin America saw $3.7 billion invested in technology, including AI, reflecting strong investor confidence in projects with solid fundamentals.
"The industry now rewards not just innovation but the ability to solve real problems with AI, through proposals validated to transform entire sectors,” said Israel García, Director at Startuplinks.
With the global AI market expanding at unprecedented speed, platforms that connect startups to capital and strategic alliances are essential to scaling innovations worldwide.
AI for Corporates Challenge Drives Innovation
Organized by Batech.ai, Startuplinks, and the Escuela Bancaria y Comercial (EBC), AI Fest 2025 featured workshops, exhibitor zones, conferences, and the competitive AI for Corporates Challenge. Startups presented AI applications for retail, banking, and healthcare.

Eight teams advanced from the first round:
In the semifinals, finalists pitched their models to a panel of experts evaluating value propositions, scalability, and monetization strategies. Fleet, Maat, Llamit AI, and Cora emerged as finalists, set to present in a private event where the overall winner will be announced.
Collaboration Between Startups and Investors
AI Fest coincided with Mexico Tech Week 2025, creating a collaborative environment where emerging talent and venture funds connected to build bridges between innovation and capital. Key participants included Google, NVIDIA, Perkins Coie, and HubSpot, leading discussions on regenerative AI, advanced automation, regulation, and model scalability.
Sponsors like Cuantico VP, Tienda Red, deRecruiters, Apolo 25, NU4, Delfi AI, ADN, Brücke, and Fleet reinforced the goal of fostering an ecosystem where technology meets investment to shape the future.
