ALAS continues to expand its role across Latin America with the launch of its 2026 Delegate Member applications, alongside the announcement of a renewed regional governance structure designed to reinforce its presence in key markets and allied ecosystems.
Applications Open for 2026 Delegate Members

The Latin American Startup Alliance (ALAS) confirmed that applications will be open from January 20 to February 20, 2026. Interested candidates can apply through the following link.
This call seeks to strengthen regional representation and bring new leaders into a collaborative network that connects startups, entrepreneurs, investors, and ecosystem builders across Latin America, with a mission to foster innovation, accelerate growth, and expand access to opportunities since its founding in 2024.
New Leadership Structure for 2026
ALAS unveiled its leadership team for 2026, which will guide the organization’s regional strategy and long-term vision:

- Etienne Gillard, Vice President
- Pablo Brenner, Board Chairman
At the regional level, the newly appointed Representative Directors are:
- North America: Nora Martín Galindo
- Central America & Caribbean: Jose Kont
- South America & Andes: Alejandra Caballero
- Southern Cone & Mercosur: Georgina Losada
- Brazil: To be determined

Kick Off Event and Long-Term Strategic Agenda
On January 11, ALAS hosted its official Kick Off event in Punta del Este, Uruguay, where it introduced six strategic projects aimed at guiding regional integration, data generation, and cooperation over the next 30 years of innovation and entrepreneurship in Latin America.
During the event, ALAS also announced its Official Delegation to Web Summit Rio de Janeiro, scheduled for June 4–13. The delegation will bring together startups, leaders, companies, and organizations from across Latin America and international ecosystems, representing the organization’s main Q1 initiative and already recognized as the largest Latin American delegation ever to attend an innovation event in Brazil.
ALAS Annual Summit in Bolivia
The ALAS Annual Summit will take place from November 3 to 7 in Santa Cruz de la Sierra, Bolivia, where the organization will present and consolidate the first concrete results of its regional integration projects.
