The Salvadoran government, led by President Nayib Bukele, is placing a strong emphasis on education and preparing the next generation of professionals. In this effort, Nawaiam, an Argentine startup, is emerging as a key partner by using gaming to guide adolescents in their educational and career decisions.

Partnership with the Salvadoran Government

Through this collaboration, Nawaiam provides a 15-minute immersive game that allows students to experience scenarios designed to reveal their interests, skills, and motivations. The goal is to help determine their vocation and align it with potential professional paths. Initially, this program aims to impact around 8,000 secondary school students in El Salvador, with results analyzed by the Ministry of Education.

The platform’s algorithm, scientifically validated by the University of Zaragoza, offers over 90% predictive accuracy for vocational guidance. It also connects these insights with all existing professional careers, providing a comprehensive understanding of student potential.

Developing Collective Career Maps

Beyond individual guidance, Nawaiam’s platform can create collective career maps, offering governments and institutions an overview of trends, skills, and professional needs. This data enables policymakers to design more effective educational programs and public policies tailored to regional challenges.

With this initiative, El Salvador follows a tech-forward approach, similar to its early adoption of Bitcoin (BTC), positioning itself as a government focused on using innovative technologies to drive impact. Nawaiam, led by Horacio Llovet, is already operating in over 17 countries and serving around 500 companies, reinforcing its mission to democratize access to professional development opportunities worldwide.
