Brazilian Agtech, BemAgro Secures US$ 6 Million Led by The Yield Lab Latam to Expand AI Platform
BemAgro raises US$ 6M in a Series A led by The Yield Lab Latam to scale its AI platform for agribusiness in Brazil and abroad.
BemAgro has secured US$ 6 million (R$30.3 million) in a private Series A round structured by Arara Seed, marking a new growth phase for the Brazilian agtech specialized in artificial intelligence applied to agribusiness. The transaction underscores the continued maturation of Brazil’s agtech ecosystem and reinforces investor confidence in technology-driven agricultural efficiency.
The round was led by The Yield Lab Latam, one of the world’s leading venture capital funds focused on agricultural innovation. Colorado Ventures, the venture capital arm of Grupo Colorado, joined as a new investor. Strategic shareholders already on the company’s cap table, including CNH, Atvos, Agroven, and other sector players, also participated.
Strategic Capital from Agribusiness Players
For Johann Coelho, CEO and founder of BemAgro, the fundraising represents a defining milestone.
“This round marks an inflection point for BemAgro and for the agtech market as a whole. Our cap table is entirely composed of agribusiness players who understand field operations and believe in technology built in direct connection with real agricultural challenges. This level of strategic alignment gives us confidence to scale consistently, responsibly, and with global ambition,” he said.

The participation of sector-focused investors reinforces this positioning. According to Kieran Gartlan, Managing Partner at The Yield Lab Latam:
“We invest in technologies that solve real and relevant agricultural challenges at scale. BemAgro has built a robust geospatial intelligence and applied AI platform, with strong operational validation in value chains such as soybeans, sugarcane, and forestry. We are excited to support this next growth cycle and further position Brazil as a global agritech reference.”
Maurílio Ribeiro de Mendonça, Founder & Managing Partner of Colorado Ventures, highlighted the operational strength of the company’s solution:
“What gave us full confidence was the proven effectiveness of the platform within precision agriculture and the company’s market traction. As a producing group, we aim to contribute our operational expertise to consolidate results and accelerate expansion in the grains segment through large-scale validation and solutions aligned with sector realities.”
Growth Trajectory and Market Validation
Founded in 2018, BemAgro has now raised more than US$ 10 million (R$50 million) since inception. Following its previous round, completed in August 2024, the company tripled its revenue, driven by customer base expansion, new product launches, and higher average ticket size.

Henrique Galvani, CEO of Arara Seed, emphasized the broader implications for venture capital in agribusiness:
“Venture capital is one of the greatest drivers of entrepreneurship worldwide. Even in a high-interest-rate environment in Brazil, this round demonstrates that strong businesses continue to attract strong investors. The combination of follow-on from strategic shareholders and the entry of new funds validating the company’s valuation signals the maturity of the agtech market. This is not just fundraising — it is the consolidation of an intelligent capital ecosystem focused on efficiency, technology, and sustainability in agriculture.”
Expansion Plans and Next Growth Phase
The proceeds from the Series A will be directed toward advancing the company’s artificial intelligence platform, launching new solutions, strengthening its commercial structure, and expanding into strategic domestic and international markets.
This new chapter positions BemAgro among Brazil’s leading AI platforms applied to agriculture, at a time when operational efficiency, climate predictability, and data-driven management are becoming central to agribusiness competitiveness.
