Impacta VC launches applications for its 2025 Fundraising Program

Impacta VC, the venture capital fund focused on social and environmental impact, has opened applications for the fourth edition of its acclaimed Fundraising Program. This educational and mentoring initiative has been instrumental for over 330 startups across Latin America, helping them design and execute successful capital-raising strategies. The new edition will kick off on May 20, 2025, and will run for six months in an online format.

Who can apply to the Fundraising Program?

The program is aimed at scalable tech-based startups with a social or environmental impact. Founders must be committed to raising capital in 2025, have a minimum runway of six months, and be able to interact in English, as some sessions will be conducted in that language. The monthly participation fee is USD 249, and spots are limited. Applications will remain open until May 16 via Impacta VC’s official website.

What’s new in 2025: More months, more experts, more impact

This year, the Fundraising Program expands from 3 to 6 months of intensive training, providing more time to learn and apply capital-raising strategies. The program introduces personalized office hours and two new phases in its methodology. It maintains its hands-on approach with workshops, weekly missions, and the participation of top-tier guest speakers.

The 5 Phases of the Program

The 2025 Fundraising Program is structured into five key phases to help startups shape their fundraising rounds:

  • Raise or Not Raise?: Strategies to decide whether or not to raise capital.
  • Get Ready and Sexy: Pitch preparation and fundraising materials.
  • Approach and Connect: Tactics to reach out and engage with investors.
  • Managing Momentum: How to keep investor interest alive.
  • Closing the Round: Techniques to close and oversubscribe funding rounds.

Fostering Inclusion and Sustainability

This year, the Impact Ambassadors continue their mission to promote diversity and environmental awareness, building on the success of past editions. Ecosystem leaders such as Marta Cruz (NXTP), Tina Rosenfeld (Masisa), and Anna Raptis (Amplifica Capital) will take part in selecting startups for scholarship opportunities.

Results that speak for themselves

Since its launch in 2022, the Fundraising Program has impacted over 330 startups from more than 20 countries. About 65% of participating startups raised capital within three months of completing the program, while 45% of selected startups in 2024 were led by women. Additionally, 76% of participants actively recommend the program.

A founder-powered network for founders

Every week, participants gain access to masterclasses with renowned founders and industry experts. Previous guests have included figures such as Zev Siegl (Co-Founder of Starbucks) and Daniel Undurraga (Co-Founder of Cornershop). Classes will be led by David Alvo (CEO and Founder of Impacta VC) and Iván Páez (Venture Partner and CTO), who, together with investors and partners from the VC ecosystem, will share their insights.

"2025 will be a longer edition with new hands-on approaches and a clear goal: to help startups structure and close their rounds so they can scale technologies that solve real problems," says David Alvo, CEO of Impacta VC. Iván Páez, Venture Partner, adds: "Our mission is to ensure that no high-potential startup is left behind due to lack of knowledge or network."

With a proven track record and an enhanced format for 2025, Impacta VC’s Fundraising Program continues to position itself as a leading platform for mission-driven startups in Latin America. By combining strategic guidance, expert mentoring, and a strong community of peers and investors, the program empowers founders to navigate the fundraising journey with confidence and clarity—turning impactful ideas into scalable ventures.
