Coca-Cola FEMSA, the largest bottler in the world by sales volume within the Coca-Cola System, has completed the fourth edition of its Mujeres ON program, training 184 women entrepreneurs and reinforcing its commitment to strengthening micro and small businesses led by women in the region.

The initiative focused on enhancing business management skills, leadership capabilities, and access to financing opportunities for women operating small-scale enterprises across Costa Rica and Nicaragua.

More than 60 hours of training to strengthen business management

Participants received over 60 hours of training delivered through a combination of virtual sessions, e-learning modules, and in-person workshops. The program aimed to strengthen capabilities in point-of-sale management, leadership development, and financial access.

Sessions addressed topics such as digital marketing, inventory management, artificial intelligence tools, and purpose-driven entrepreneurship. The peer-to-peer format reinforced collective learning and practical skill-building among participants.

Additionally, a dedicated website was launched to centralize recorded sessions and complementary materials. The platform also featured “Luz,” a chatbot designed to guide participants throughout the different stages of the program and provide ongoing support.

Building a regional network of women-led businesses

Beyond training, the program offers continued support through commercial initiatives, mentoring opportunities, and networking spaces, creating a comprehensive experience aimed at strengthening business ecosystems and fostering collective empowerment.

Since its launch and with the conclusion of its fourth edition, Mujeres ON has positively impacted more than 600 women entrepreneurs in Costa Rica and Nicaragua. The program has built a strong collaborative network and positioned itself as a benchmark in female economic empowerment, promoting transformative leadership across the region.
