The program is designed to support professional developers and startups from Mexico and Brazil in creating device-based AI solutions across key sectors such as mobile, computing, and the Internet of Things (IoT).
Comprehensive support for cutting-edge AI solutions
Through the Qualcomm AI Innovators Program, participants will gain exclusive access to resources, training sessions, and personalized mentorship. They will also benefit from tools like Qualcomm AI Hub, which enables them to optimize, validate, and deploy AI models on compatible devices, either using their own models or selecting from a curated collection of pre-optimized, high-performance models available on the platform.
The hub’s compatibility with multiple application systems allows for seamless integration of AI into a wide range of use cases, from personalized mobile experiences to real-time IoT solutions and intelligent computing.
Program phases and benefits for participants

Applications are open until August 8, and the program includes two phases:
- Phase One: open to developers and startups from Brazil and Mexico, focused on developing edge AI models using Qualcomm AI Hub.
- Phase Two (August 2025 - January 2026): open to selected startups based in the same countries, aimed at building end-to-end use cases using Qualcomm-provided hardware platforms.
Selected startups participating in Phase Two will receive:
- Six months of dedicated mentorship.
- Access to Qualcomm hardware or development kits.
- Participation grant of up to $5,000 USD.
- Additional patent support grant of up to $5,000 USD.
- The chance to pitch their innovation during a high-profile virtual Demo Day to industry leaders, investors, and potential partners.
Driving regional innovation

Luiz Tonisi, President of Qualcomm Latin America, stated that the program aligns with the company’s commitment to advancing technology in the region. Sudeepto Roy, Vice President of Engineering at Qualcomm Incorporated, emphasized that Latin America is witnessing a new wave of innovation led by tech pioneers shaping the region’s future.
Both executives underscored the importance of connecting local talent with world-class tools, including 5G connectivity, energy-efficient computing, and intellectual property support.
