Sensify continues to strengthen its presence in the global tech landscape. The Rosario-born startup has raised a new USD 2 million investment to accelerate the international expansion of its smart, AI-powered refrigeration technology.

Transforming Refrigeration Through Data and AI

Founded in 2019 by Matías Cottone and brothers Eugenio and Federico Harraca, Sensify develops connected refrigerators and vending machines capable of generating real-time commercial data. By integrating big data and artificial intelligence, the company turns traditional cooling equipment into “data-producing assets.”

We turn the refrigerator into a source of insights, translating millions of invisible data points from the point of sale into actionable decisions for brands,” said CEO Eugenio Harraca.

Previously, brands inspected their equipment manually every 30 days. Sensify’s system now updates information every 15 minutes, sending performance, energy-use, maintenance and sales data to the cloud for automated analysis.

Operational Impact and Global Footprint

Based in Rosario with additional offices in Buenos Aires, Barcelona and Curitiba, Sensify has a team of 25 professionals and serves major clients such as Coca-Cola, Quilmes, AmBev, Modelo (AB InBev), Sigma Alimentos and Pepsi. The company already operates in seven Latin American markets and is preparing to enter Europe soon.

One of its most significant achievements is resolving 45% of technical tickets remotely, reducing the need for on-site visits and cutting operational costs and emissions. Investors also reported that Sensify’s system reduces electricity consumption by 15%, enabling brands to reach new efficiency standards.

The newly secured capital will support the company’s entry into new regions and the launch of a product capable of measuring real-time stock levels, executing planograms and providing enhanced point-of-sale analytics.

Investor Confidence and Market Validation

Mayco Mansilla, partner at Innventure, described Sensify as a “global number one in its segment,” noting a 100% success rate in pilots with top food and beverage companies.

Gabriela Ruggeri, managing partner at Kamay Ventures, added that the next 18 months will focus on strengthening the platform and scaling its integrations with manufacturers.

Sensify has real demand, growing revenue and a proven model. The challenge now is expanding into more points of sale and regions,” she said.

Building a New Data Infrastructure for Connected Cooling

Beyond connected refrigerators, Sensify aims to create a broader ecosystem where every device contributes to a high-value data infrastructure. According to investors, this model enables new monetization channels, operational efficiencies and deeper insights for decision-making.

With a scalable technology platform and fresh capital, Sensify is positioning itself as a global player in data analytics and AI—showcasing Argentina’s ability to deliver world-class technological innovation.
