Skyone, a leading Brazilian software company specializing in cloud computing, data, and Artificial Intelligence (AI), has secured a strategic investment from Advent International as part of its Series C round. The investment, made through Advent’s Latin American Private Equity Fund VII, strengthens Skyone’s growth strategy and positions the company to scale its global presence and deepen its AI capabilities.
Advent International Backs Skyone’s Next Growth Phase
Advent International, one of the world’s most experienced private equity investors, is supporting Skyone’s expansion through its US$2 billion Latin American Private Equity Fund VII. The firm brings extensive experience in the software sector across Latin America and globally, having invested nearly US$8 billion in 85 companies in the region over the past 25 years.
Brenno Raiko, Partner at Advent International and head of Technology investments in Latin America, highlighted the strategic importance of the deal:
“The technology sector is being driven by structural global trends such as the accelerated adoption of SaaS models, surging demand for AI infrastructure, and the growing importance of cybersecurity. Ricardo and his visionary team have transformed Skyone into one of Brazil’s most prominent software companies, and we are excited to support its next chapter of growth and international expansion.”
A Unified Platform Powering Cloud, Data, and AI Transformation

Founded in 2013 by Ricardo Brandão (CEO), Rennan Sanchez, Rodrigo Burjato, and Caio Klein, Skyone has built a proprietary platform designed to simplify and accelerate digital transformation for businesses.
The platform is structured around two core modernization pillars:
- Skyone Autosky, a multicloud orchestration and migration solution that moves mission-critical applications to the cloud while ensuring security, performance, and cost predictability.
- Skyone Studio, a comprehensive data and AI platform that supports the full lifecycle, from data integration and lakehouse architecture to the creation and management of AI agents that automate business processes.
Ricardo Brandão, Founder and CEO of Skyone, stated:
“Our integrated platform modernizes software delivery, reduces costs, and enables faster go-to-market. Advent’s deep knowledge of the Brazilian market and global technology sector makes them an ideal strategic partner. This investment reinforces the strength of our business and gives us additional resources to accelerate growth and expand internationally with even greater ambition and efficiency.”
Strong Market Presence and Consistent High Growth
Skyone currently serves more than 25,000 end customers through a network of over 400 software partners and operates in more than 35 countries. The company has successfully expanded from serving small and medium-sized businesses to supporting large enterprise clients, including Cobasi, Mambo, Malwee, and Fortbras Autopeças.
With annual revenue of approximately R$400 million, Skyone has maintained a 40% annual growth rate and increased its revenue tenfold since 2018. The reliability of its platform is reflected in customer satisfaction, with nine out of ten clients endorsing its performance and 80% of users being leaders in their respective market segments in Brazil.
Expanding Sales, Partnerships, and AI Innovation
Advent’s investment will be directed toward accelerating Skyone’s commercial and technological strategy. Key priorities include expanding the company’s sales force and partner ecosystem, enhancing the distribution of its solutions, and increasing investment in research and development, particularly in Skyone Studio’s AI capabilities.
The funding will also support Skyone’s international expansion into new global markets, strengthening its position at the intersection of cloud computing, data management, cybersecurity, and artificial intelligence.
Strategic Continuity and Investor Alignment
Skyone’s founding partners will remain significant shareholders, alongside Henkan and BeWater funds. Inovabra Ventures, an investor since 2021, as well as select angel investors, have fully exited their positions as part of the transaction.
Advent International continues to deepen its footprint in Latin American technology, following previous investments in companies such as TOTVS and its current stake in Siesa in Colombia, while globally supporting software platforms including Prometheus, Syspro, and Volue.
