The Tech Fest 2025 is set to position Colombia at the forefront of Latin America's innovation scene.

Tech Fest 2025 is set to position Colombia at the forefront of Latin America's innovation scene. More than 8,000 entrepreneurs, investors, and corporate leaders will gather to explore the region’s future through technology, culture, and strategic networking.
As part of Colombia Tech Week 2025, the main event will take place on August 21 and 22 at Parque Museo El Chicó in Bogotá, with additional conferences, workshops, and activities running from August 18 to 30 across multiple venues in Bogotá and Medellín.
A regional hub for innovation, vision, and investment
“Colombia Tech Fest is more than just an event. It’s a statement that Colombia is not just part of the global tech conversation, it’s leading new ways of making it happen,” says Nicolás Cruz, co-founder of the event.
The two-day festival will feature over 70 international speakers, including unicorn founders, AI leaders, and venture capitalists from Silicon Valley and across Latin America. Attendees will have the opportunity to engage directly with more than 200 investment funds, corporations, and high-impact startups.
With more than 30 simultaneous sessions, including business roundtables, speed meetings, and strategic encounters, the event is designed to facilitate regional collaboration and unlock investment opportunities. Specialized workshops in fundraising, product development, AI, growth, and strategy will offer practical learning tracks for founders and operators alike.
According to organizers, Tech Fest aims to drive more than US$50 million in potential investment opportunities, with the participation of family offices, VCs, and capital leaders from Latin America and the Middle East.
“The future of Latin entrepreneurship isn’t just about raising capital, it’s about raising visions. Tech Fest is where those visions connect,” says Daniel Bilbao, co-founder of Truora and co-organizer of the event.
A platform for global and local tech leaders
Colombia Tech Fest 2025 will host influential names such as Simón Borrero (Rappi), Daniel Bilbao (Founders Fund), Andrés Bilbao (Rappi), Shu Nyatta (Bicycle Capital), Alfonso de los Ríos (Nowports), Federico Storani (Riverwood), Santiago Suárez (Addi), José Vélez (Bold), Eric Archer (Monashees), Dani Undurruaga (Cornershop), and Andrés Albán (Puntored), among 50+ other confirmed speakers.
In addition, investment firms from the United Arab Emirates will join to explore Colombia’s growing tech ecosystem and talent base.
As María José Echeverri, co-founder of the festival, puts it: “If there’s one thing we’ve learned in Latin America, it’s that resilience becomes innovation when connected to purpose. And Colombia is ready to lead that change.”
