Volcano Summit 2025: Innovative Solutions Through Technology and AI

Volcano Summit 2025 returns for its sixth edition since its debut in 2018, aiming to strengthen Latin America’s Startup Hub by placing technology and Artificial Intelligence at the core of this year’s entrepreneurship agenda.

Taking place from September 6–8 in the city of Antigua, Guatemala, the event is designed to connect businesses, social leaders, and entrepreneurs with investors. The goal: to generate innovative solutions to some of the region’s most pressing challenges.

A Global Gathering to Boost Regional Innovation

 With more than 2,000 attendees expected, the event will feature 130 international speakers from over 30 countries. Across three days, participants will engage in keynotes, panels, workshops, and networking sessions that link ideas to real-world opportunities. The mission is clear: attract top global talent to share their expertise and co-create impactful solutions.

Startup Avenue 2025: 50 Startups to Compete for $150,000 in Funding

 One of the summit’s key highlights is Startup Avenue 2025, a competition focused on helping Latin American entrepreneurs scale their ventures and drive economic growth. This initiative empowers the next wave of regional startups.

Startup Avenue 2025 serves as a launchpad for emerging entrepreneurs aiming to scale their ideas. This year, more than $150,000 USD in investment will be awarded, supported by firms such as Side Door Ventures and Caricaco Venture. Compared to previous years, participants will benefit from increased exposure, mentorship, and access to capital.

Also announced was the importance of Volcano4Good, an initiative committed to regional development by supporting projects in key areas such as healthcare, nutrition, education, natural resources, and mobility.
