New funding to support payment acquiring expansion
Brazilian fintech Pinbank, which specializes in payment solutions and financial services, announced that it has raised US$19.6 million through a Credit Rights Investment Fund (FIDC). The transaction was structured and distributed by XP, according to a company statement.
The capital will be directed toward increasing the financing capacity of Pinbank's payment acquiring business, which is responsible for capturing, processing, and settling transactions made through credit cards, debit cards, and, in some cases, Pix and digital wallets for merchants.

Transaction volumes continue to grow
According to the company, Pinbank currently processes approximately US$784.4 million in payment transactions annually.
Looking ahead, the fintech expects to generate US$29.4 million in revenue in 2026, representing 50% growth compared with the previous year.
"The funding raised through the FIDC strengthens our ability to sustain growth with a more predictable financing base. It is an important step toward reinforcing our presence in the acquiring segment and providing greater strength to a strategic business line for the company," said Felipe Negri, Chief Executive Officer of Pinbank.
Company enters a new institutional phase

Pinbank stated that the financing marks a new stage in its institutional development. According to the company, this phase includes a strategic repositioning, a corporate restructuring process, and the continued strengthening of its technology division.
The company expects these initiatives, together with the new funding, to reinforce its payment acquiring operations while supporting its long-term growth objectives.
