Fundraising Program 2025 Impacta VC kicked off on May 20 with a bold mission: to help early-stage startups across Latin America master the art of fundraising in a challenging investment landscape.

A crucial moment for fundraising in Latin America

Despite a 30% year-over-year increase in capital raised, totaling US$ 1.1 billion in the first half of 2024, Latin America saw a 63% drop in the number of investments compared to the same period in 2023, and 11% fewer startups managed to close funding rounds. In this context, the Fundraising Program 2025 offers a six-month, hands-on experience designed to help founders develop customized strategies for pre-seed, seed, or pre-Series A fundraising.

This year, 98 startups, led by 189 founders, were selected from more than 280 applications. The top five countries represented are Chile, Argentina, Colombia, Mexico, and Ecuador. The ventures span 25 industries, with Fintech, Climatech, Cleantech, Healthtech, Agtech, and Foodtech taking the lead.

Designed by founders, for founders

Created by a team of investors and serial entrepreneurs who have raised or exited companies ranging from US$ 20 million to over US$ 1 billion, the program’s curriculum equips founders with real-world fundraising tools and mentorship. Participants will have access to a curated database of more than 300 VC firms aligned with their investment theses.

The program boasts a strong track record: 65% of past participants raised funding within three months of completion, and the Net Promoter Score (NPS) sits at 76%.

Empowering women and climate-focused startups

In line with its commitment to equity and sustainability, Impacta VC awarded 46 scholarships through its Women Ambassadors and ClimaTech Ambassadors systems.

This year, 40% of the applicant startups were led by women, a significant step toward closing the gender gap in Latin America's entrepreneurial ecosystem. The Women Ambassadors supporting this effort include Anna Raptis, Bárbara Harteneck, Susana García, Tina Rosenfeld, Nicole Forttes, and Francisca Contreras.

Meanwhile, the ClimaTech Ambassadors initiative continues to support high-potential startups solving global climate challenges through scalable technologies. Startups selected under this program are granted full access to the Fundraising Program 2025 at no cost.

Raising expectations

With a collective fundraising goal of over US$ 60 million, the selected startups are entering the program ready to refine their strategies and connect with capital. As Latin America's startup scene continues to mature, initiatives like the Fundraising Program 2025 Impacta VC stand out as essential platforms for enabling growth and resilience in the region's innovation ecosystem.
