Infobip Strengthens Enterprise Email Services with SocketLabs Acquisition
Infobip has acquired SocketLabs to strengthen its AI-first communications platform with advanced email infrastructure and deliverability capabilities.
Infobip has announced the acquisition of U.S.-based SocketLabs, strengthening its AI-first communications platform with advanced email infrastructure, analytics, and deliverability capabilities for enterprises and independent software vendors (ISVs).
Infobip strengthens its email infrastructure portfolio
Global cloud communications platform Infobip has acquired SocketLabs, a U.S. company specializing in high-volume, multi-provider email infrastructure. The transaction reinforces Infobip's position in the email infrastructure and deliverability market by adding technologies that help businesses and ISVs manage, monitor, and optimize email delivery at scale.
According to the company, the acquisition broadens the capabilities of its communications platform, allowing customers to improve the performance of their email operations while managing the entire process through a single provider.
Silvio Kutić, CEO of Infobip, highlighted the strategic value of the acquisition:
"Combined with our existing capabilities, this makes us the only provider able to cover a customer's entire email operation, rather than just one part of it. Their customer base is well established in North America and has a growing presence in Latin America, giving us an immediate position in markets where we have been strengthening our presence. We are adding proven expertise and proprietary technology to our offering, enabling us to move much faster."
Acquisition supports Infobip's AI-first strategy
The acquisition is aligned with Infobip's long-term strategy of becoming an AI-first company. The company recently introduced its Email Deliverability Agent, and SocketLabs' analytics capabilities are expected to enhance this AI-powered solution.
By integrating SocketLabs' technology, Infobip aims to provide businesses with deeper insights into email performance while improving optimization through artificial intelligence and automation.
The company believes these capabilities will help organizations better manage deliverability, monitor campaign performance, and improve overall email effectiveness.
Building AI-Driven Customer Communications
Founded in 2006, Infobip is a global cloud communications platform that enables businesses to create connected customer experiences throughout the entire customer journey, with artificial intelligence serving as a core driver of innovation.
Through a single, natively integrated platform, the company provides omnichannel engagement, identity management, user authentication, and contact center solutions designed to simplify customer communications while supporting business growth and customer loyalty.
As part of its AI-first transformation, Infobip continues to invest in technologies that accelerate AI adoption across its platform. Its infrastructure reaches more than seven billion mobile devices across six continents through over 10,000 connections, including more than 800 direct operator connections. The company is led by co-founders Silvio Kutić, CEO, and Izabel Jelenić, CTO.

SocketLabs expands Infobip's presence in key markets
The acquisition also provides Infobip with immediate access to SocketLabs' established customer base in North America while strengthening its growing presence across Latin America.
Tim Moore, CEO of SocketLabs, said the integration represents the next stage in the company's evolution:
"Joining Infobip is the natural next step in a journey we began nearly 20 years ago. Infobip's global scale, carrier relationships, and AI-first platform will allow us to accelerate innovation and expand our email capabilities to businesses around the world."
A broader communications offering for enterprises and ISVs
With the addition of SocketLabs, Infobip further strengthens its position as a communications provider capable of supporting enterprises and independent software vendors across multiple communication channels through a unified platform.
The companies did not disclose the financial terms of the transaction.
