Kapital Raises US$125 Million to Accelerate AI-Powered Financial Expansion
Kapital raises US$125 million from Tru Arrow Partners and Fasanara Capital to accelerate AI innovation and expand across key global markets.
Kapital has secured US$125 million in new financing from Tru Arrow Partners and Fasanara Capital, with participation from Cervin Ventures, Niya Partners and Overlook Capital. The financing will support the company's product innovation and expansion across Mexico, the United States and other key markets.
New financing to support Kapital's next growth phase
The new capital will allow Kapital to increase investment in its proprietary artificial intelligence platform and data analytics suite, strengthening its financial services ecosystem and supporting its global expansion strategy across Mexico, Latin America, the United States and Europe.
René Saúl, CEO and co-founder of Kapital, said the company is focused on addressing financial challenges that can limit businesses throughout their development.
“Kapital is solving the core financial challenges that hold businesses back at every stage of their development, creating greater economic opportunity and using AI to democratize access to financial capabilities that were traditionally reserved for large corporations.”
Saúl added that the financing will support the company's next stage of growth as it continues to grow profitably and increase the operating leverage of its business, with Mexico and the United States among its priority markets.

Investors highlight Kapital's AI capabilities
The financing includes Tru Arrow Partners and Fasanara Capital as the main investors, alongside Cervin Ventures, Niya Partners and Overlook Capital.
Francesco Filia, Founder and CEO of Fasanara Capital, highlighted Kapital's growth and the strength of its business model, as well as the competitive advantage created by its AI capabilities and data network.
According to Filia, the company has demonstrated significant demand for its solutions, and Fasanara Capital expects to continue supporting Kapital as it expands.
Adam Silverschotz, co-founder and Managing Partner of Tru Arrow Partners, emphasized Kapital's combination of financial discipline, regulated financial infrastructure and artificial intelligence.
“We believe Kapital is exceptionally well positioned to lead this rapidly growing sector, and we are pleased to co-lead this new round, which represents another important milestone for the financial institution.”
Kapital reports strong first-half 2026 results

The financing comes as Kapital enters its next stage from a position of financial strength. The financial institution recently reported its second-quarter results, highlighting significant growth during the first half of 2026.
The company reported:
- Approximately US$50 million in net income
- 220% year-over-year growth in its loan portfolio, which surpassed US$1.7 billion
- 234% growth in deposits, with balances exceeding US$3.5 billion
- A 2.86% non-performing loan ratio
- An efficiency ratio of 34.9%
These figures reflect Kapital's ability to scale its operations while maintaining cost discipline, with continued attention to asset quality and risk management.
From Series C to Mexico's first AI unicorn
The new financing follows Kapital's Series C round announced in September 2025, when the company raised up to $110 million and doubled its valuation to more than US$1.3 billion.
That milestone made Kapital Mexico's first AI unicorn.
Today, the financial institution serves more than 350,000 customers across Mexico, the United States, Europe and other Latin American markets. Kapital plans to continue expanding its presence across these priority markets.
The company is also one of 10 unicorn startups headquartered in Mexico and has been recognized twice by the World Economic Forum as a Technology Pioneer.
