SiloReal has secured US$2.5 million in new funding to accelerate its regional expansion and strengthen its digital infrastructure for agricultural assets. The investment increases the Argentine agtech's total funding to US$4 million and will support its growth across Argentina and Brazil.

Funding Round Brings Together Strategic Investors

The financing round was completed in early July 2026 and included participation from Draper Cygnus, Xperiment Ventures, Innventure Agrifoodtech, Galicia Ventures, BYMA Ventures, as well as the Business Angels Club EmprendeIAE, Lartirigoyen, fyo, and Reis Advogados.

The composition of the investor group aligns with SiloReal's business model. While BYMA Ventures is connected to Bolsas y Mercados Argentinos, Galicia Ventures is part of Banco Galicia's innovation ecosystem.

Building Digital Infrastructure for Agribusiness

SiloReal operates in Argentina and Brazil, developing technology that enables grains stored in silo bags, as well as livestock and dairy assets, to receive digital validation. This allows these assets to serve as collateral for financing, insurance coverage and commercial transactions without requiring their physical movement.

Its technology is based on the VRR (Remote and Recurring Verification of Agricultural Assets) standard, which continuously verifies the existence, condition and ownership of agricultural assets.

On top of this infrastructure, the company has developed three complementary solutions:

  • SiloID, which provides digital identity for agricultural assets.
  • SiloSat, which uses satellite imagery for verification and monitoring.
  • SiloMetrix, which combines IoT sensors and artificial intelligence algorithms to continuously monitor assets.

Together, these solutions aim to connect the agtech, fintech and insurtech sectors by enabling digital credit, insurance products, guarantees and commercial transactions backed by verified agricultural assets.

Founded by Experienced Agribusiness Leaders

SiloReal was founded in 2021 by Delfín Uranga (CEO), José Domínguez (Brazil Director), and Martín López Saubidet (Chief Commercial Officer).

Before launching the company, Uranga worked at S4 Agtech and served first as Vice President and later as President of the Argentine Polo Association between 2021 and 2025. Domínguez leads the company's Brazilian operations, while López Saubidet previously worked in the presidency of Techint Group and in the commercial division of Tenaris.

More Than 1.4 Million Tons of Grain Digitized

According to the company, SiloReal has already digitized more than 1.4 million tons of grain, representing approximately US$430 million in value, while serving more than 50 customers across productive regions in Argentina and Brazil.

The company previously raised US$1.5 million in 2023 from Draper Cygnus, Xperiment Ventures and Innventure Agrifoodtech. In December 2025, it also announced a partnership with Nera focused on credit products.

Capital to Support Regional Expansion

The newly raised capital will be used to deepen SiloReal's regional expansion, further integrate its platform with banks, insurance companies and other ecosystem participants, expand its team and continue improving its technology and operational processes.

The company also expects to confirm an additional funding round in Brazil.

Looking ahead, SiloReal's five-year roadmap includes monitoring 40 million tons of agricultural assets and reaching approximately US$70 million in revenue.
