Since its debut in 2019, StartCo has evolved into a crucial platform for highlighting the most promising startups. Over 11,000 entrepreneurs have shared their live ideas, securing multimillion-dollar investments in real time and realizing their full potential in the competitive business world.
In 2023, the intention to invest surpassed two and a half million dollars in the final round, backing the finalist startups with a funding of $495,000. This financial support reflects the confidence of investors in the presented opportunities, and the event drew over 13,000 attendees.
What is StartCo?
In the dynamic realm of Latin American entrepreneurship, StartCo emerges as a trailblazer – the first live startup auction on the continent. Conceived by entrepreneurs for entrepreneurs, this event brings together the entire regional ecosystem, focusing on startups in advanced stages with minimum annual revenues of USD 25,000.
In its sixth iteration, StartCo returns to Bogotá, solidifying its role as a key catalyst for innovation and creativity among Colombian entrepreneurs. The event is set to take place on March 14th and 15th, 2024, at Corferias.
Expectations for 2024 are even more ambitious. Participation of 18,000 attendees and around 1,000 registered startups is anticipated. From this pool, 250 will be selected to connect with investors and accelerators, marking a significant step in promoting entrepreneurship in the region.
Innovations in StartCo 2024
StartCo 2024 brings notable innovations. A technology space will showcase over 30 technological projects, ranging from robotics to artificial intelligence, providing a glimpse into the future of business. Additionally, 'StartBook,' a new tool, will allow registered entrepreneurs to be contacted by investors, strategic allies, and other actors in the Latin American startup ecosystem, aiming to boost the participation of innovation, digital transformation, and new business areas of corporations in Colombia and the region.

StartCo 2024 presents an academic agenda with around 10 high-impact speakers.
