The global competition brings together startups, venture capital investors, and technology leaders from around the world, culminating in a final event in the United States.

Pegasus Tech Ventures Drives the Global Competition

The Startup World Cup is organized by Pegasus Tech Ventures, a Silicon Valley-based venture capital firm that offers a Venture Capital-as-a-Service model designed to connect corporations seeking innovation with high-potential startups.

Through Startup World Cup, Pegasus Tech Ventures has created a global platform that identifies entrepreneurial talent in more than 70 countries while connecting founders with investors, strategic partners, and international business opportunities.

"The initiative aims to bridge innovative startups with global capital and corporate partners, creating opportunities that extend beyond local ecosystems," according to the event organizers.

A Growing Opportunity for Latin American Entrepreneurs

Over the past decade, Latin America's startup ecosystem has experienced significant growth, supported by an increasing number of startups, venture capital funds, and entrepreneurship support programs.

Competitions such as Startup World Cup help accelerate this momentum by providing founders with greater visibility, generating high-quality deal flow, and strengthening connections between the region and global innovation hubs such as Silicon Valley.
