UIN Raises US$2 Million to Accelerate Its AI-Powered Expansion in Latin America
Argentine startup UIN raises US$2 million in a seed round to expand across Latin America and strengthen its AI-powered BehaviorOS platform.
UIN, an Argentine startup founded by Facundo Corsi and Manuel Heredia, has raised a US$2 million seed round to accelerate its expansion across Latin America and strengthen the development of its artificial intelligence platform.
The company developed BehaviorOS, an infrastructure designed to help banks, fintech companies, digital wallets, retailers, and telecommunications companies design and activate specific user behaviors. The platform integrates through APIs with the systems companies already use and applies artificial intelligence to determine, in real time, which action should be shown to each user based on a company's business objective.
From user acquisition to retention
The founders identified user retention and recurrence as a broader challenge within the financial industry after their previous experience operating a digital wallet with millions of users.
“We understood that acquiring users was very easy. The real challenge was retaining them,” Corsi explains.
Today, BehaviorOS analyzes more than 300 million transactions and indirectly reaches more than 80 million users through its clients.
Argentina and Peru account for approximately 60% of the company's portfolio, while Mexico has become one of UIN's main expansion markets.

BehaviorOS uses AI to turn users into habits
The actions carried out by BehaviorOS vary according to each client's objectives. Companies can use the platform to:
- Activate dormant users
- Increase transaction frequency
- Drive adoption of a new feature
- Reduce user churn
To achieve these goals, the system analyzes behavioral variables and calculates each person's tendency to carry out specific actions. Based on that information, its AI engine selects the most appropriate mechanism for each situation.
These mechanisms can include:
- Missions
- Streaks
- Challenges
- Incentives
“Streaks work better when the objective is consistency, missions work for the one-time adoption of a new feature, and challenges and incentives work to generate specific spikes in volume,” Corsi explains.
The platform operates under a business model that combines a monthly fee for using BehaviorOS with a variable component linked to engagement and the results generated.
As a result, UIN also generates revenue when its actions produce concrete results, such as more card payments, QR transactions, or the use of new features.
“We don't want to be simply another fixed cost within a company's technology stack. We want to have a direct relationship with the value we are able to generate: if our client grows, we grow with them,” Corsi adds.

UIN raises US$2 million to accelerate regional expansion
The US$2 million seed round was led by EWA Capital and included participation from Driven VC, Brazilian Venture Capital, ADN, GAIN, New Ventures, and a group of angel investors, including entrepreneur and influencer Santiago Siri.
UIN will use the capital to strengthen its product, engineering, and sales teams, while also accelerating its entry into new markets.
“The objective is to strengthen our expansion and reinforce our product and engineering track, adding high-level people who are committed to our objectives,” Corsi says.
Mexico becomes a key market for UIN
Mexico will be one of the main countries for UIN's next stage of growth. The company considers the market strategic because of the size of its financial and digital banking ecosystem.
The goal is to replicate in Mexico the experience UIN has already developed in Argentina, Peru, and Ecuador.
Looking ahead, the company aims to continue growing across Latin America and expand its reach into other industries. Although UIN initially focused on banks, fintech companies, and digital wallets, its technology can also be applied to retailers, telecommunications companies, and other digital products seeking to increase usage frequency and retain their users.
