Estudio Atlas Raises US$ 400K to Transform E-commerce Content With AI

Estudio Atlas is an Argentine startup using artificial intelligence to change how brands create content for online sales. Its platform turns product photos taken with a smartphone into studio-quality images and videos ready to be published across e-commerce channels.

The company serves both e-commerce brands and marketing agencies managing content for multiple clients. Users can either let the AI automatically generate content or customize settings such as scenarios, styles and models depending on the campaign, whether for an online catalog or a store on Mercado Libre.

AI-Powered Content Built Around Brand Identity

One of Estudio Atlas' main differentiators is its focus on maintaining each brand's visual identity.

Companies can upload their own assets to the platform, including:

  • Logos
  • Fonts
  • Color palettes
  • Product catalogs

The platform can then use those elements when generating new content.

Beyond product images, Estudio Atlas also enables brands to produce advertising videos and UGC-style content using AI-generated voices, without requiring a traditional filming process.

The company also integrates with Tiendanube, allowing users to import products directly from their online store and work with that catalog within the platform.

According to the company, Estudio Atlas already has more than 250 brands and agencies with active paid subscriptions, primarily in Argentina and Uruguay.

Its customer base has increased fivefold over the past six months, while more than 145,000 photos and videos have already been generated through the platform.

The company was founded by Matías Estrella and Juan Ignacio Porras, two electronic engineers who graduated from ITBA and have been friends since childhood in Comodoro Rivadavia.

How Estudio Atlas' Business Model Works

Estudio Atlas operates through a monthly subscription model combined with a freemium offering.

Brands and agencies can start using the platform for free, with access to 10 photos to test the product.

Paid subscriptions start at US$69,999 per month for the Pro plan and reach US$399,999 per month for the Ultra plan, which is designed for companies with higher content-production volumes.

The company says its platform can reduce production costs by more than 90%.

The difference can be particularly significant for audiovisual campaigns. Traditional productions can exceed US$20,000, once expenses such as scripting, filming, equipment and post-production are included.

Keeping AI Content Faithful to the Product

While generative AI is at the center of Estudio Atlas, the company argues that the challenge goes beyond creating visually attractive images.

For brands selling products online, the generated content also needs to preserve the identity of the company and accurately represent the product being sold.

Today any tool can generate a beautiful image. The challenge is that each image has the brand's identity and that the product is exactly yours,” said Juan Ignacio Porras, founder of Estudio Atlas.

The platform adapts its approach according to the type of product being presented. Creating content for a garment displayed on a virtual model, for example, requires a different approach from presenting a piece of furniture in a living room or a plate of food.

This product-specific approach is part of the company's effort to combine generative AI with accurate product representation.

From Bootstrapping to a US$ 400K Pre-Seed Round

Estudio Atlas was initially funded entirely with capital from its founders.

Estrella and Porras financed the platform's development themselves during its first months while building and validating the product.

The company later brought in an angel investor through a SAFE. That investor has also chosen to participate again in the current fundraising round.

For us, it is the best signal that we are on the right path,” Porras said.

Estudio Atlas is now raising a US$400,000 pre-seed round, with 25% of the round already committed.

The capital will be used to accelerate product development, deepen the company's growth in Argentina and Uruguay, and advance its expansion into Mexico.

Agencies as a Growth Channel

Marketing agencies represent another important part of Estudio Atlas' expansion strategy.

The model gives the company an opportunity to reach multiple brands through a single agency, since agencies can manage content for several clients from the same platform.

This makes agencies a potential multiplier for Atlas as it expands its customer base and enters new markets.

The company's longer-term objective is to become a central tool for brands that sell online, positioning its platform at the core of their content-production processes.

Building the Default Content Platform for E-commerce

Estudio Atlas' vision extends beyond generating individual product images or videos.

The founders want the platform to become a default content-production tool for e-commerce brands and marketing agencies across the region.

Our vision is to be the default content tool for e-commerce and agencies: that no brand in the region stops selling because of how its products look,” Porras concluded.
