The Brazilian startup Fu2re, based in Rio de Janeiro and specialized in data processing through artificial intelligence and image recognition, announced a new investment round of R$12.5 million (approximately US$12.3 million).

The company aims to consolidate its presence in new industrial and agricultural sectors, in addition to boosting its international growth.

How it started

Fu2re was founded by André Sih, a Brazilian entrepreneur with extensive experience in AI and technology-driven solutions. With a background in computer engineering and a career spanning more than two decades, Sih previously led multiple innovation initiatives in the utilities and telecom sectors.

At Fu2re, he brings a strategic vision focused on combining artificial intelligence with practical, scalable applications that serve the real economy. His leadership has been key in steering the company toward sectors with high impact potential, such as energy and agriculture, while maintaining a strong focus on sustainability and digital transformation.

Investment led by Copel Ventures

The round was led by Copel Ventures, the corporate venture capital fund managed by Vox Capital and created by Copel (Companhia Paranaense de Energia) to support early-stage startups that are accelerating the energy transition. Indicator Capital also participated.

With a total fund of R$150 million, Copel Ventures makes strategic investments in areas such as clean energy, smart cities, electromobility, ESG innovation, and asset management technologies.

Toward international expansion and new sectors

With this capital injection, Fu2re plans to broaden the reach of its generative artificial intelligence solutions, develop scalable products, and position itself in sectors such as agriculture and industry. Additionally, the funds will allow the company to accelerate its internationalization.

No-code technology for smart monitoring

Fu2re offers a no-code platform that enables the digitization of field processes, the automation of meter reading, fraud detection, and the reduction of non-technical losses. Its technology is especially geared toward optimizing the monitoring of physical assets, with key applications in the electric power sector.

Among its products are solutions such as SmartVision AI, SmartAssets, SmartReader, and EnergyWatch, focused on utilities and infrastructure.
