Kaszek Invests in TravelX, Bringing Total Funding to US$45 Million
Kaszek invests in TravelX, bringing the airline software company's total funding to US$45M as it expands its AI-powered revenue platform globally.
Kaszek has made a substantial investment in TravelX, the AI-native pioneer in post-booking revenue management, bringing the company's total funding to $45 million. The investment marks Kaszek's first move into the aviation technology space and supports TravelX's vision of transforming how airlines manage and monetize inventory after a ticket has been booked.
Kaszek Backs TravelX's AI-Native Approach to Aviation
The investment reflects Kaszek's conviction that artificial intelligence is creating a new category of revenue management solutions capable of turning airline inventory from a static asset into a dynamic, continuously optimized one.
“Artificial intelligence is reshaping every major industry, and we believe aviation is another high-potential opportunity market to be redefined,” said Nicolas Berman, Partner at Kaszek.
According to Berman, TravelX is not simply improving an existing process. Its AI-native platform has the potential to fundamentally change how airlines monetize inventory, optimize their networks and serve travelers.
“We are excited to partner with the TravelX team as they build what we believe can become a defining technology company in global aviation.”
TravelX Completes Series A Financing
With the backing of Kaszek and participation from Thayer Ventures, TravelX has completed a Series A financing round.
The company plans to use the financing to accelerate product innovation, expand its AI platform, strengthen its global commercial presence and advance its mission of becoming the intelligence layer powering the next generation of airline revenue management.
For TravelX CEO Juan Pablo Lafosse, the investment supports a vision centered on the revenue opportunities that emerge after a ticket has already been sold.
“For decades, airlines have optimized the moment a ticket is sold. We have proven there are huge, untapped revenue opportunities that begin after the booking.”
Lafosse explained that millions of airline seats become more or less valuable every day as demand, operations and customer circumstances change. According to TravelX, AI enables airlines to respond continuously to those changes and transform static inventory into a dynamic commercial asset.
“We're proud that Kaszek shares this vision and excited to build the future of airline commerce together.”
How TravelX Is Transforming Post-Booking Revenue Management
For decades, airline inventory has remained largely static once a ticket is issued, limiting airlines' ability to respond to changing demand, operational disruptions and evolving customer needs.
Traditional revenue management systems primarily rely on forecasting demand before a ticket is sold. TravelX takes a different approach by continuously analyzing real-time operational conditions, customer behavior, network demand and commercial opportunities after booking.
Its platform enables airlines to make intelligent inventory decisions throughout the customer journey, with the goal of maximizing profitability while improving operational efficiency and passenger satisfaction.
TravelX describes itself as the AI-native pioneer in post-booking revenue management. Its machine learning models transform static bookings into dynamic, real-time inventory, creating new revenue streams for airlines while providing passengers with greater flexibility.
TravelX's Global Airline Partnerships
TravelX currently partners with some of the world's most innovative airlines, including Viva, Volaris, AirAsia, WestJet, GOL, Scoot and Cebu Pacific.
The company also has additional global airline deployments currently underway as it expands its platform and commercial presence.
