Jusfy Lands US$ 15M Funding Round to Accelerate Legal AI and Fintech Solutions

Jusfy has secured a US$15 million Series A funding round led by Quona Capital, marking a new growth milestone for the Brazilian legaltech. The investment will support the expansion of its financial services platform, the development of new artificial intelligence solutions, and the launch of a version tailored to law students.

Quona Capital leads Jusfy's Series A

The Series A round was led by Quona Capital and included participation from Spectra E Investments, LegalTech Fund, FJ Labs, MAYA Capital, and Thomson Reuters Ventures, the venture capital arm of Thomson Reuters.

The new funding follows Jusfy's pre-Series A round completed just over a year ago, which was led by SaaSholic. That financing also attracted Norte Ventures and several investors that returned in the current round, including MAYA Capital, FJ Labs, and The Legal Tech Fund.

While the amount raised in the previous round was not publicly disclosed, estimates published by Startups place it between US$4.5 million and US$6 million, based on a standard equity dilution of 15% to 20% typically seen in funding rounds up to Series B.

Funding will strengthen Jusfy Pay and AI development

Jusfy plans to use the new capital primarily to expand Jusfy Pay, the company's financial services offering designed for legal professionals.

In addition, the startup intends to invest in developing new artificial intelligence capabilities across its platform and launch a dedicated version for law students, broadening its product portfolio beyond legal professionals already active in the market.

The company positions itself as an AI operating system for Brazil's legal industry, combining technology with financial services to support lawyers throughout their professional workflows.

Valuation reflects the company's rapid growth

Founded in 2021, Jusfy was valued at approximately US$30 million during its previous funding round.

The company has not disclosed its valuation following the US$15 million Series A. However, according to estimates published by Startups, Jusfy's valuation could now range between US$80 million and US$106 million.

The publication noted that it did not have access to the transaction terms and based its calculations on valuation practices commonly observed in venture capital markets.

Investors highlight Jusfy's fintech opportunity

Although Jusfy operates in the legal technology sector, investors also see significant potential in its financial services business.

In a letter addressed to investors, Quona Capital—a global venture capital firm specializing in fintech—highlighted the opportunities created by Jusfy's expansion into financial services, underscoring the strategic role of products such as Jusfy Pay in the company's long-term growth strategy.

The latest investment positions Jusfy to continue expanding its AI-powered platform while strengthening its presence at the intersection of legal technology and embedded financial services in Brazil.
