Rebill Raises $5.4M to Expand Payment Infrastructure

Argentine payment infrastructure startup Rebill has closed a $5.4 million pre-Series A funding round, pushing its cumulative funding past $9 million since its inception in 2020. Co-founded by CEO Nahuel Candia and COO Ariel Diaz Ailan, the Buenos Aires-headquartered company provides modular payment architecture designed to help businesses process local payment methods and manage complex financial flows across the Americas.

The latest financing round drew participation from prominent tech figures and institutional backers, including a renewed investment from Vercel founder and CEO Guillermo Rauch, alongside a SpaceX executive participating in a personal capacity. Rebill’s historical backing includes venture heavyweights such as Tiger Global, Y Combinator, SV Angel, Soma Capital, and Dropbox co-founder Arash Ferdowsi.

Rebill's Growth Reflects Demand for Cross-Border Payment Solutions

The newly secured capital will fund the company’s ongoing expansion across the United States and key Latin American markets. According to company disclosures, Rebill currently operates across six markets: Argentina, Brazil, Chile, Colombia, Mexico, and the United States, servicing enterprise clients such as education platform Henry, travel-assistance provider Assist 365, and technology training provider TripleTen.

AI and Payment Automation Shape Rebill's Next Phase

Rebill’s capital raise underscores a broader, structural evolution within Latin America’s financial technology sector, where investors are increasingly prioritizing B2B infrastructure and cross-border enablement over consumer-facing applications. As regional enterprises scale internationally, they face fragmented local clearing systems, distinct regulatory compliance frameworks, and varying alternative payment methods. Infrastructure providers like Rebill aim to abstract this complexity into a unified integration layer.

Operational momentum has accelerated significantly for the firm. Between January and September 2026, Rebill’s active merchant base quadrupled, while its monthly processed payment volume tripled. Moving forward, the company intends to integrate artificial intelligence natively into its platform architecture rather than deploying it as a peripheral feature, signaling a broader industry trend toward autonomous financial management and automated transaction orchestration.
